In our first segment on the Redken’s Symposium, we look at trending cuts, colors, and accessories. This year is all about hair texture, color and health. Our stylists learned modernized techniques for cutting styles like shags, layers, and the classic bob. These techniques allow them to further provide a completely custom cut complementing their client’s face shape and style.
Mixing multiple colors creates the perfect match for clients. The newest formulation, Shades EQ Gloss color line allows our stylists are to tone and condition the hair in one step. One of our favorite looks is the money piece which provides bold, face framing highlights bringing dimension and brightness to the face. Symposium educators discussed several ways in which stylists can utilize the new Violet-Gold color line to achieve the perfect money piece.
Maintaining the health of your hair is so important, regardless if your hair is colored or natural. Hot tools, the environment and even stress can affect the integrity of your hair. This line is different from the rest because it was created for all hair types and textures as an all-in-one system to repair damage. To us, healthy hair is always in!
